MOTOR OUT!

Today I stopped by my cousins place just north of me in Atlas, WI. and they loaned me their "cherry picker". That's the red thing in the picture.
In a matter of minutes the motor and transmission were out of the vehicle.
The only event today that happened was that I forgot to unhook the speedometer cable. Not a big deal and it didn't cause any issues. I unhooked it and out came the motor and transmission.
That motor and trans are extremely heavy.
Do you know anyone who wants to purchase a 1950 Pontiac Chieftain Straight 8 and 2 speed transmission? If you do then have them send me a note and we'll talk. The motor is locked tight and will not turn over. The previous owner attempted to unseize the motor, but to no avail. I'm not even going to try.
If no one wants the thing it goes to the recycling yard for scrap.
