August Update

Hello all.

It's been over a month since my last posting and as of today I have nothing to report as far as progress on the car.

This past month has been fraught with one distraction after another. Family matters, home repair, general maintenance on vehicles and of course summer vacation.

10 days in California at Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Yosemite National Parks and then San Francisco was well worth the time and money. The beautiful MASSIVE trees, mountains, and waterfalls in the parks were awe inspiring and the 3 days in San Francisco was, well, very interesting, especially for my small town boys. It was a lot to take in, so much stimulation. The High Sierra Desert is absolutely beautiful.

I'm hopeful that in the next few months I can get some progress done on the car even though my other passion, hockey season, will be starting in a month or so.

I'm starting my list of the purchases I need to make and the top of the list is front floor pans and 4 link rear end mounting brackets and pieces. If I cannot find some brackets that I can purchase at a reasonable price then I will be forced to fabricate. (That's the fun stuff)

I plan on water sand blasting the interior floor to see how much rust removal I will actually need to accomplish. The trunk area will be completely removed and fabricated to accommodate the air ride system and the 4 link rear end mounting. The car had leaf springs and I'm switching over to air/coil over springs.
